How to choose a Sofa Wall bed

Price: Check the price range of each seller to be sure it’s within your budget. Also check what‘s extra (delivery, installation, custom boards, fabric). We, as a producer, offer direct pricing. We also manufacture our beds entirely in the UK, so, no transport cost for delivery from China or Europe. We do not pay for a showroom, so we do not transfer the connected extra cost to the clients. Bed/Mattress Sizes: Choose the size of the bed that is most practical for you. We build beds for all the standard UK mattress sizes plus any custom size that will suit your project. Note that a standard double comes with a two-seater sofa and a king size comes with a three-seater sofa. You can use your existing mattress too. In fact, we design and build everything around the mattress. Check what is the maximum thickness of the mattress you can use as most of the wall beds on the market can accommodate mattresses of no more than 7or 8″ thick (18 to 20cm). Our beds can work with 10″+ (20 to 30 cm) thick mattresses.

Safety/strength: Maximum safety due to the patented mechanism – once closed the bed will stay closed even if both gas struts are removed. If you have to replace a gas strut it can be done easily and securely by a single person. The L-shaped structure prevents the bed from tipping over. Boards: Ask the bed manufacturer what boards they use. We use only top-quality boards from EGGER (Austria) and KRONOSPAN (Switzerland). They offer more than 300 board finishes. No other sofa wall beds manufacturer come closer to us for choice and quality. We also offer MDF boards for custom paint finishes as well as plywood for more natural finish.

Fabrics: our standard fabric, which is always in stock, is grey. It has been chosen by our upholsterer with 40+ years’ experience. Also, we offer the full range of Agmamito and Toccare fabrics. If you would like we can use your own fabric for the upholstery.

Matching furniture: we design and build any custom furniture our clients need. The other bed suppliers offer very limited choice of fixed size units, which rarely fit the client’s space.

Delivery: We make our beds here in the UK so, we deliver within 2 to 3 weeks from placing the order.

Installation: All our sofa wall beds come with FREE installation by a qualified and highly experienced professionals. All the other suppliers charge extra for the installation and this amount can be significant. Some sellers offer their sofa wall beds for self-assembly. But please remember that this type of furniture is very complex and could be a real challenge even for experienced professionals. Please, bear in mind: the assembly instructions are 30 to 40 pages long! The bed and bed cabinet are made of 30+ parts, there are around 60 types of parts and fixings and the total number of items to be used is 350+!
